Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Lovely Inn with beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Immaculately maintained spacious room with comfortable bed, ample pillows and comfortable air conditioning! Hot shower and great towels and plentiful supplies! Cold fridge and new microwave with available coffee! Staff was extremely pleasant and helpful! Highly recommend!
The gentleman that checked me in and out was extremely nice and helpful. He told me he has gotten bad reviews on room I was in because of the old tile in bathroom , I enjoyed seeing the character of the tile. It was very clean and they are in the middle of renovating the inn .. Beautiful sunrise and sunset and view right out your door...
The Inn is in a great location and the rooms are very clean and well appointed. We were here to attend our daughter's graduation and the accommodations provided by the hotel exceeded our expectations. Thank you!
Did not eat breakfast. Front desk staff were friendly & helpful. Had to add an extra night to beginning of original booking & did not have to change rooms. Location is near I-64/81. Can walk to Ruby Tuesday & a taco truck (Tres Veces Feliz, when open). Also an antique store & auto parts are walkable. A few minutes drive to downtown Lexington. Parking lot was full in the evenings so hotel seemed well used and not deserted. Everything was clean in the room. View toward west was pretty.
Located just outside town, it was clean, quiet, and was located up on a hill so there was a beautiful sunrise over the valley that the Inn had the perfect view of. Staff was friendly and offered a map of the town and recommendations for restaurants to try in the area. We look forward to booking at this location the next time we are in town.
Very friendly and informative owner. Great value for money, everything was clean, bathroom had plenty of towels and other essentials one might need. The inn has plenty of parking and is at a good location.
We always stay at the Comfort Inn Virginia Horse Center when we travel through Va on I81. The location is easy to find and quiet. We usually drive to downtown Lexington to walk about and then go to the Devil Backbone Brewpub a short drive for dinner. The breakfast is fine for travelers like us who need a quick bite to eat before we hit the road again the next morning.
Very friendly innkeeper who was very welcoming and helpful to share places to eat for dinner & breakfast. He was right - Niko's Grill for dinner & Pure Eats for breakfast were very good food & reasonable prices. Room was very basic and very clean & comfortable. Excellent location & value for Civil War history trekkers. Just shared your establishment info with family heading to DC. Loved supporting family/community businesses.
The Rockbridge Inn is the best secret in town! The location is awesome and the room was extremely clean and comfortable. I actually told the owner he should charge more because it is worth it! I will definitely stay here again!!
Dave is a great host and takes pride in the Inn which is clearly evident.
