The couple Betty and Juan that run it are absolutely wonderful. They were very helpful with information about the surrounding area. The kitchen area is very large and nice, there is a little green space, and the room was in very good condition. The beach isn’t far and the center of town is only a short walk away.

From the moment we arrived, Marcela and her family welcomed us with such genuine warmth that we instantly felt at home. The atmosphere of the posada is peaceful, authentic, and filled with a charm that’s hard to describe. One of the highlights of our visit was the incredible asado dinner. Despite my severe allergies, everything was handled with such care and attention. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every detail was thoughtfully accommodated without hesitation. What truly set our experience apart was the generosity and support Marcela and her family showed us. We were searching for information about my husbands Welsh ancestors, and they went above and beyond to help. Their kindness made our journey both easier and far more meaningful. The rooms were cozy, the surroundings stunning, and the overall experience exceptional. We are deeply grateful for the love and attention we received. Posada Los Mimbres is more than a place to stay, it’s a place where you feel connected, cared for, and completely at ease. We would return in a heartbeat and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone looking for a truly special and memorable stay.

The staff were super friendly and efficient. Wish we had stayed longer!
