Great welcoming host, delicious breakfast, clean rooms, 25 min drive to Kitzsteinhorn, parking on the premises, comfortable beds, only a few other guests were there during our stay so the pension wasn’t crowded and the host let us use the common space for some hanging out and board games. Thank you, we enjoyed our stay.

Before arrival, we had spoken with the owner of Kesslerstadel on the phone and she spoke very good English. She happened to be at the property when we arrived and immediately showed us the property. It was a welcoming beginning to our 4 night stay! The combination of old and modern is outstanding, The location is a short walk to many services and restaurants in the town of Matrei.

Comfortable tidy apartment. Easy parking. Good breakfast included. Loved the infrared sauna. Fantastic view and short walk to restaurants for dinner. Perfect stay.

The location is amazing with wonderful views!! The food is very good, both breakfast and dinner, beef broth is a bit too salty for my taste but still delicios. Staff was friendly, the coffee nice and free, great facilities.

The owners were so hands-on, the result is a superbly run pension hotel. A bonus for us was that they have a full a la carte restaurant for lunch and dinner. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, perhaps one of the best we have ever had. We were lucky to have a view facing window and balcony. We would absolutely love to stay there again.

The service of stuff is excellent. Dinner and breakfast are excellent and taste. The view from the hotel is beautiful. I recommend this hotel.

Very friendly traditional hotel. Good sized room, everything was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and bathroom/shower was good. Windows open onto a balcony so good to be able to get fresh air in. Friendly and helpful service throughout. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was good

This stay was a most pleasant surprise! I could hardly believe the wonderful room we got. Everthing sparkling new, clean and freshly decorated. The room was big, and the bathroom too. The beds were very comfortable. The view was just magnificent, both from the bedroom and the breakfast room. The photos don't give justice to the rooms - they are much better in real life. The breakfast was good and the host a lovely welcoming person. If you need somewhere to stay in Heiligenblut, I will warmly recommend Pension Sonnleitner!

Summer vacation comfort stay in the middle of the sunshiny valley, that we could drive around and visit Großglockner mountains. Warm-hearted guesthouse service. The Thursday BBQ night with music band by the host family was super impressive. Their restaurant cooks tasty dinners too.
