The new owners showed so much care and pride for their property and we loved interacting with them, the friendly staff and other guests, which we enjoyed so much. If you prefer lots of privacy, your own space and spectacular views, go for the chalets on the hilltop, they overlook mountains and rivers. They have just been repainted. Sitting on the stunning porch, with a choice of chairs or comfy sofas, enjoying the hummingbirds fly to the feeders was such a highlight especially during breakfast, which was of fantastic quality and choice. On colder days, there is a cozy lounge for relaxing if you wish. We found the location so convenient for exploring Cape Breton as well as the Bras D’Or lakes. It was such a pleasure getting to know Elizabeth and Kevin a little bit. The service was impeccable; the room immaculate and comfortable. Really enjoyed breakfast in the lovely dining room. It reminded me a bit of my childhood with the blue plates and other touches of home on the wall and hearth. Thank you.

Thy have a nice patio on the water. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Its located very centrally in Cheticamp, with onsite parking. The room is above the restaurant, which was fine as we couldn't hear any noise from below. The views out over the bay were really nice and everything is walking distance. The decor is a little dated inside (there's a CD player haha) but the bed was comfy and the shower/bath tub super large and comfortable! The kitchen is large, with lots of utensils and things if you are cooking. It was walking distance from all the main sites of Cheticamp and the restaurant underneath looked good (though we didnt get to dine there).
