EVERYTHING, it’s a gem in the Cabot Trail, we had the best time. Holger and his wife Betty are the best hosts taking care of all details to make sure we had an amazing stay. The hotel, the common areas and the rooms are so unique and the surroundings are so beautiful and peaceful. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was a wonderful and delicious experience. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Lots of little extras in the room,including bottled water, sweets, both a kettle and coffee machine amongst many facilities.

This was by far the best place we stayed in during our trip in Nova Scotia. It was super easy to check in and get our room. We absolutely LOVED the lounge area with laundry, nearly a full kitchen, a printer, a lounging area and a gym! We also loved the hot tub and it really made our night! The location of the hotel is perfect, and the little chairs on the porch overlooking the water are amazing. This place greatly exceeded our expectations and we would recommend it to anyone!

We came to Baddeck to hike the Cabot Trail. This location was perfect as it is right at the entrance to the park. There are lots of little restaurants all within walking distance. The Inn is very well appointed. Beds and furnishings were very comfortable.

Beautiful large room on the 3rd floor with a very clean shared bathroom. Both Mike and his wife Tracy were very friendly and chatted easily with us. Spike, the cat, was friendly and greets you when you arrive.They gave information about local places to go. My husband and Mike had a great chat on the porch in the evening which was a highlight of his vacation. Very hospitable. We enjoyed watching the ducks come up the lawn to the porch. Great view from the room - we watched a loon in the lake. Wonderful homemade breakfast. A relaxed atmosphere with no sense of rushing. We had a choice of rooms as 2 were available.

Boasting a terrace, bar and views of sea, Castle Rock Country Inn is situated in Ingonish Beach, 1.6 km from Ingonish Beach. This a beautiful inn. It is located an hour of the beginning/end of the Cabot Trail. The view is beautiful and it was stunning to sit outside and eat our delicious breakfast. The owner Kim was very friendly and welcoming.
