First the owner checked us in and showed us to our room- Stephanie was delightful!! Room was very spacious with beautiful views of the water. Everything was clean and comfortable.

What a lovely experience staying at this beautiful inn surrounded by nature. The new owners showed so much care and pride for their property and we loved interacting with them, the friendly staff and other guests, which we enjoyed so much. If you prefer lots of privacy, your own space and spectacular views, go for the chalets on the hilltop, they overlook mountains and rivers. They have just been repainted. Sitting on the stunning porch, with a choice of chairs or comfy sofas, enjoying the hummingbirds fly to the feeders was such a highlight especially during breakfast, which was of fantastic quality and choice. On colder days, there is a cozy lounge for relaxing if you wish. We found the location so convenient for exploring Cape Breton as well as the Bras D’Or lakes. The August House offers air-conditioned accommodation in Windsor. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The August House has been beautifully renovated, with lots of lovely homely touches. Beds were comfortable and facilities were good - we particularly enjoyed using the firepit to toast the complimentary marshmallows! It's well located with easy access to main roads elsewhere in the region. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

Cheticamp Outback Inn is set in Chéticamp. The inn offers mountain views, a terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. So clean, thoughtful extras - lovely spacious room with peaceful view but it comes down to Michelle the owner - she is outstanding- kind- caring and so hard working - exceptional !!! The BEST place I’ve stayed in in 5 weeks of travelling- a wonderful memory to have !

Set in Port Hood, 1.6 km from Sunset Beach, Hillcrest Hall Country Inn offers accommodation with a terrace and free private parking. We had a comfortable and restful stay at Hillcrest Hall. Comfortable beds, access to fans/AC to cool the rooms down. Reliable wifi (at least for mobile browsing) and a great breakfast each morning. Walkable to local beaches & a lovely lawn to chill on at the start/end of the day. Boasting a waterfront location, this Digby property offers an on-site bar and restaurant. A kitchen or kitchenette feature in most of the suites. Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa is 2 km away. The room was large and beautiful with a balcony over looking the water . Location was great with many restaurants within walking distance . The room was very clean and the bed was comfy with nice linens . Didn’t have a chance to try the restaurant but the menu looked good . Would recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet stay and comfortable stay .
