The hotel is in great condition and the breakfast is perfect. Still the thing that was the most important is that it is run by good people. We had a mistake booked by me and they were quick to help me rectify it. I appreciate that a lot and will return the first chance I get.

It is like the hotels I'd stay in Germany forty years ago. It's family owned and run. The rooms are comfortable. The entire hotel is clean. It's also a little quirky. Check-in is between 6PM and 8PM. The restaurant serves dinner between 6PM and 8PM. Drinks are served until ten. Also, there are several days a week when the restaurant is closed. However, the food is fantastic. The owner has a garden from which she harvests fresh vegetables daily. The tomatoes were amazing. We ate in the hotel our second night, and then returned the next for mostly the same dishes. The hotel is located in a tiny village, and the hotel seems to be the hub of activity. One night a local men's choir was practicing inside while we ate outside. Then the local fire department dropped by for bratwurst and beer. In the distance we could hear some band members practicing. Marvelous!

Attractively situated in Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Pension „das Lädle“ features accommodation with free WiFi throughout the property. Such a beautiful little place, we had the two bedroom apartment and it was ideal for three adults travelling. The stairs up are pretty steep so if you're not so mobile or have huge bags it may be a little difficult to navigate. The beds were comfy and warm, it was clean, and the bathroom was large. Being November it's colder outside, but inside the rooms it was lovely and warm and cosy. Location is amazing, easy to get to from the train and you're basically right in the centre of the old town (within the walled part) - and about 50 metres from the iconic yellow building on the intersection. The owner was lovely and check in was super easy. There are snacks available to purchase in the room and a drinks fridge which could hold a couple of our own small items.
