The host was very accommodating and helped us out throughout our whole stay, he also let us leave our bags whilst we were away to the jungle which was a massive help.

Set in Zumbagua, Hotel Imperial Zumbahua & Quilotoa Lodge offers 3-star accommodation with a shared lounge, a restaurant and a bar. Staff was very flexible. I asked for an early breakfast at 6am and they not only delivered but had a taxi ready to immediately take me to Quilotoa ($5). Highly recimmended.

Room with fireplace is amazing. Breakfast is very good too, just fruit table served oddly, ask for a bowl to mix it all in. There is a nice trail around the property with llamas in the back. Very conveniently located near ruins. Churrasco is great, tried both with chicken and beef (make sure you have an empty stomach, it's quite a portion).

The staff are amazing, and the owner is exceptionally helpful — from personally guiding us to the room, holding our luggage for 3 days, helping flag down a taxi and negotiating the price, to giving clear, detailed information about buses and travel logistics. If you’re planning to do the Quilotoa loop, this is absolutely the man to talk to. The rooms are comfortable, with hot showers and great water pressure. Breakfast is standard but perfectly fine, and the lovely courtyard is a great place to relax. The location is excellent and convenient for exploring Latacunga and beyond. Overall, a welcoming, well-run hotel that makes traveling in the area much easier. Highly recommended.

The place is AMAZING, the style, decor, amenities, location… The owner was around and he was a very pleasant gentleman, assigned me an awesome cabin, provided great food. It was a very warming welcome!! Definitely coming back
