Great location in such a charming town. They could NOT HAVE BEEN NICER, especially when we accidentally booked the wrong day and showed up 24 hrs in advance! She came right over and cleaned/prepped for us while we went out for dinner. Ended up getting a bigger room because that was what was available and she didn't charge us anything for what was 100% our own error. Lovely place to stay, too - -very clean and comfortable. Genuinely, such a lovely host experience, and we are so grateful to how gracious she was in working with us despite our mistake.

There is no breakfast ... but bars nearby. Great location. Clean.

This location is STUNNING - high on a hill top, overlooking the incredible mountains. The hotel is beautiful, clean, modern and I can't honestly say anything negative about it. Our host helped organise taxis and used whatsapp audio to send us information which was brilliant. In the shared area there is a water fountain to use, free muffins and access to tea and coffee. The bedrooms are lovely, a TV, air con and an incredibly comfortable bed. There is a sun terrace that is great - great views with a couple of sun loungers to use.

Beautiful accommodation, in a fantastic location

The room was very clean, the bathroom was fully equipped, and the towels were lovely. There was a small fridge in the room. Great for cooling the wine while watching the sun set on the expansive terrace. The bed had excellent linens and was very comfortable. Parking right in front. I could not fault anything, and the price was outstanding. We will be back, Juanni, thanks so much xx The location was great, just a few minutes into the village where there were bars and shops. The urban knitting group had a display on of huge knitted butterflies ...FANTASTIC.

Authentic, great location, cheap

The Alojado de Velarde hotel is a hidden gem in Conil de la Frontera. The hotel stands in a house that was built in 1780 and it has been fully renovated, maintaining the distinct architectural features of the time. We had a room upstairs, with two small balconies. Although there is a bar right outside which opens at night, the two balconies had double doors with thick window panes and blackout curtains so with a bit of help from the AC (very modern unit too), it was very easy to fall asleep without the noise from outside. The location is superb. We drove and, despite having no issues, the streets are extremely narrow and there is no parking nearby as you would have elsewhere. Instead, there is free public parking near the boardwalk. The hotel staff recommended unloading the car and then parking down there. We did that and had no issue. It's a 10 min walk (albeit slightly uphill). In the end, because we walked from the hotel to the beach and back several times a day, upon checking out we decided to just walk down with our luggage rather than moving the car through those very narrow streets. In terms of food and things to see, the hotel is in the historic part of town. There are cafes, restaurants and little shops with cute (not tacky trinkets) things and beach attire every few steps. The room was very spacious and comfortable, very modern in its design. It was cleaned daily. The shower was excellent: great water pressure and very hot. Perfect after a long day at the beach. The staff was also another high point. Warm and savvy, they truly took care of us. Will definitely return.

Everything was amazing! The place is sparkling clean, with beautiful luxury design, all the details are thought through. The bed and the pillow were soooo comfortable. The rooms are quiet, comfortable temperature is maintained. They provide towels, again, of amazing quality. They even send you a WhatsApp message with all the access details. Just perfect
