This charming hotel and guest house lies in quiet Hochstetten, just outside the town of Breisach am Rhein, 2 km from the River Rhine and the French border. This is an exceptional hotel. We arrived by bicycle, great secure bike parking. Staff were so friendly. The food in the restaurant was brilliant - local dishes, beautifully cooked, with excellent local wines at very reasonable prices. There were clearly many locals in the restaurant - always a good sign. The staff were so attentive and looked after us brilliantly (French and German spoken). Rooms were clean and efficient, and the breakfast was really good. We would stay here again at the drop of a hat!!

Good location and walkable distance to main attraction. Kitchen is fully equipped and have a supermarket downstairs, which I felt very convenient if you wanna cook.
