This was such a lovely inn to stay, I did not want to leave!! The village is beautiful with surrounding walks in the countryside. It is close to other villages and towns to visit in South Devon. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, friendly and made you feel welcome. We had a cooked breakfast and dined in the evenings. The food was divine!

Overall the personal touch - which was then supported by great beds, bathroom stuff as well as perfect food. Little touches like home made cookies and fresh milk in the bedroom just spoilt us. They also had a bike shed which made us more relaxed about our bikes safety overnight - although the village was clearly not a high crime area

Set in the village of Broadclyst on the outskirts of Exeter, Red Lion provides a garden. Located around 7 km from Sandy Park Rugby Stadium, the inn is also 6 km away from Westpoint Arena. Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital is 7 km from the inn. This lovely historic is lovely. The rooms are nicely furnished and the bathrooms are modern. The breakfast had a variety of options, and did the dinner. All of the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying in the village of Broadclyst, which is a short bus ride to and from Exeter. There is a nice walk that explores the local countryside, and the church is an historic beauty.

At the inn, the rooms are fitted with a desk and a TV. The private bathroom is fitted with a hair dryer. Steve and Toshi were amazing. Dinner was fabulous. Breakfast was the best I have ever had. They have a great chef! Thoroughly recommend the mushroom and truffle Arancini for a starter for dinner and the mushroom toast for breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable ! Loved it and Tavistock !

Lovely room, very comfortable and private away from the main pub. Huge bed and fresh milk delivered in the morning! Ordered an evening meal in the pub and took it back to the room, staff were very accomodating.
