This was such a lovely inn to stay, I did not want to leave!! The village is beautiful with surrounding walks in the countryside. It is close to other villages and towns to visit in South Devon. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, friendly and made you feel welcome. We had a cooked breakfast and dined in the evenings. The food was divine!

Small, very charming hotel. Wonderful room with a lot of space and many lovely details. Clean and comfortable. Great location - no parking at the hotel but easy to find parking nearby.. Very friendly staff. Good food.

All rooms in the inn are fitted with a flat-screen TV. All rooms include a private bathroom with free toiletries. Overall the personal touch - which was then supported by great beds, bathroom stuff as well as perfect food. Little touches like home made cookies and fresh milk in the bedroom just spoilt us. They also had a bike shed which made us more relaxed about our bikes safety overnight - although the village was clearly not a high crime area

Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital is 7 km from the inn. Warm and friendly and the staff were exceptionally down to earth and immediately welcoming!

The price was reasonable, they have only 4 rooms and we had 2 of them, both were very nice, heating in the bathroom made it comfortable. Restaurant had good food and stuff was nice-they helped us with turning double bed into twin. Definitely would stay here again.
