The place has been recently fully renovated. It is in excellent condition, both the bathroom and the room, which is of good size. The room has a refrigerator and a cattle - much appreciated. The staff are super friendly. The location is central in Blato, just a short drive from Vela Luka. The parking is along the street (sometimes busy as it is free) and just across the street (payable between 7 am and 8 pm, always available and not expensive - 1.2 EUR per hour or 12 EUR a day). A grocery shop is next door to the hotel. This accommodation is really good value for money. We were very happy. If you are looking for a hotel with a sea view, this is obviously not the place, but if you are exploring Korčula and you need a nice place to stay, at a super reasonable price at the peak of the season, this is it.

Built into the ruins of a castle, the interior is beautiful. There were 8 of us so we had the run of the place, but I suspect it would be just as great if you only had one room. There were a few good markets and cafes along with at least one great restaurant in walking distance.
