Delicious food, but especially the friendly people who work there made this an unforgettable experience for us. The guides during the jungle tour were very skilled, attentive and patient.

It’s out of the way of the main town and near Landak river for swimming which was really enjoyable for us

The staff is super friendly and Nabila speaks a perfect English, and she will help you with anything you need, including your next travel arrangements. The view is amazing from your terrasse or from the cafe at the reception. Very quiet at night (except for the mosque early morning, but that's everywhere in Indonesia) They serve breakfast/lunch/diner and it was very good. They provided wifi, which was a great help. The network of Telkomsel is also perfect here, so if you have to work, that's absolutely fine. Large bathroom with sink and shower (cold water only) Comfortable bed Fan in the room (it did the job, we had no need for air-co here) Scooter rental is also possible

Located in Pasarsungai-nyala, 1.9 km from Suwarnadwipa Beach, Ricky's Beach House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge. A wonderful place with clean, comfortable cottages, and dinner at a communal table where all guests had the opportunity to get to know each other, chat, and share experiences. The stuff was very friendly and helpful. We went on a snorkeling trip for a chance to see the paradise. The owner cares about the environment, tries to minimize plastic use, and runs a sea turtle protection project. We highly recommend this place.

Situated in Padang, 1.4 km from Air Manis Beach, Air Manis Hillside Villa Cafe & Resto features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. The property is well located. It is off the beaten track so it is quiet and peaceful (unless the neighbor has karaoke), but it is only a 10-minute scooter ride to the center. Breakfasts do not have a large selection, but everything is fresh and delicious (including local fruit). The staff tries very hard with every contact. Thank you very much to Rivaldi and Herwin for their hospitality, smiles and kindness. I recommend Air Manis Hillside!

MB Camp Singkil has a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and restaurant in Gosongtelaga. We LOVED our stay here. So much care and attention has been given to the rooms, which are super spacious, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and very well maintained. A highlight was sitting out on the verandah in early evenings, with a cold drink, watching the river. The bed and pillows are incredibly comfy; the bed linen and towels good quality too. We stayed 2 nights and would very happily have stayed longer, had time allowed. Most people use it as an overnight stop before/after going to the Banyaks, but if you have time and a good book, it's a great place to press pause and rest a few days too.

The place is great, but the people who run it make it excellent. We were still figuring and changing our plans often and they were very helpful and patient. The food Megan makes is one of the best I've had in Indonesia, ask if she can wip up a tempe bowl and you won't be disappointed. The place is clean, fun, cozy and all you need.

Situated in Sabang, 2.2 km from Iboih Beach, Panorama Seulako features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a private beach area and a shared lounge. We loved it so much we stayed for 5 extra days! You cannot beat this location. The snorkeling just in front of the bungalows is some of the best on the island. The rooms are simple and yes ours didn’t have a sink but it didn’t really phase us. The owners are lovely and very helpful.
