Gabrielle, a seasoned michelin star chef and his wife Aliona opened this hotel in 2023. It was a monastery back in 1800 and they renovated mostly by themselves and their 2 sons. Every corner of the hotel has a personal touch, showing their passion and utmost care to a place they now call home. We truly felt their warmth and hospitality. They showed the process of the renovation for 9 full months. It has been an amazing experience in Tuscany and i fell in love with Italy because of their cities and hospitalities. Hope you could visit and stay at this place when you are visiting Tuscany. They have a set menu lunch and dinner at 45 and 65 eur / person, but we have not got a chance to try because they have a full day wedding the next day, so it is not serving lunch and dinner. Set on Quercianella Bay, Locanda Garzelli is an elegant villa from the early 1900s. Offering beautiful views of the Tyrrhenian Sea, its restaurant specialises in fresh fish. Feels like a home at the beach! It's already my second time I stay at Locanda Garzelli. The rooms are clean, the shower is great and all the good beaches are close by. The communication is very easy. We will come back for sure.
