Gabrielle, a seasoned michelin star chef and his wife Aliona opened this hotel in 2023. It was a monastery back in 1800 and they renovated mostly by themselves and their 2 sons. Every corner of the hotel has a personal touch, showing their passion and utmost care to a place they now call home. We truly felt their warmth and hospitality. They showed the process of the renovation for 9 full months. It has been an amazing experience in Tuscany and i fell in love with Italy because of their cities and hospitalities. Hope you could visit and stay at this place when you are visiting Tuscany. They have a set menu lunch and dinner at 45 and 65 eur / person, but we have not got a chance to try because they have a full day wedding the next day, so it is not serving lunch and dinner. Next time….

The location was perfect - walking distance from train & duomo (with backpacks). Our host was very nice and even let us keep our bags in the room after checkout so we could explore a bit without having to worry about them. Beds were very comfortable, and the street was so charming and quiet at night.

Very cute room. Easy to locate and within walking distance of all the down town Florence shops. Felt very safe and comfortable. The loft bed was comfortable and the space had everything I needed.
