Surrounded by 50 hectares of its own vineyards, Locanda Palazzone is just 5 km outside of Orvieto. It features a garden with swimming pool and panoramic countryside views. We only stayed a night on our way home. I was surprised by how nice it was. The staff called in advance to ensure my wife's wheelchair could get in the lift. The hotel sits on a vineyard with a panoramic view of rolling hills and Orvieto town as backdrop. We got to buy some delicious wine.

The building and room were beautiful with views over the valley. The town was also lovely. Breakfast was robust and we ate dinner there also which was truly authentic Italian cuisine. We loved the staff and their kindness. Would return here!

Locanda Mescoglia ligger i Corciano, med Perugia Cathedral bare 15 kilometer unna. Beautiful place, fantastic host, very nice.

I Valfabbrica, 24 kilometer fra Assisi jernbanestasjon, ligger Sui Passi di Francesco, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en restaurant. The lady who runs the place is super nice. The menu pellegrino in the restaurant was delicious.
