From the moment we booked, Catarina (the owner) was incredibly helpful—answering logistical questions, helping us plan our arrival, and making sure everything was ready for our group. The whole staff was lovely, and we’d like to give a special mention to Dorina, who was always friendly and kind as she helped us in the mornings. The hotel itself is a hidden gem: elegant, peaceful, and full of character, located in a charming part of Venice just a short walk from San Marco. We had stunning views of the canal, and some of our favorite moments were spent in the beautiful shared lounge area. With the large door opening directly onto the canal, we could sit and watch gondolas pass by just a few feet away. The whole atmosphere was relaxed, intimate, and uniquely Venetian. The rooms were comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the layout worked perfectly for our group. The accessibility was excellent, with features that made our stay smooth and stress-free for our relative in a wheelchair. We felt truly welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. We highly recommend Console Palais to anyone traveling with family—or with accessibility needs—who wants to enjoy the authentic charm of Venice without compromising on comfort or location. We’d come back in a heartbeat!
