The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the Gion district and within walking distance of some of Kyoto’s most beautiful spots. There’s also a bus stop just steps away, making it incredibly convenient to get around the city. The hotel itself feels very new, and our room was super spacious for Japanese standards. Everything was spotless, which is always my top priority. We arrived about an hour and a half before check-in, and the staff kindly let us know our room was already ready. They allowed us to check in early at no extra charge, which made a huge difference for us. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return! :)

We had such a wonderful stay, it's a simple yet beautiful guesthouse, with everything you need and a few lovely surprises, including the cosy communal space and garden for relaxing after a long day exploring. We had everything we needed and Tony was an amazing host, all of his suggestions for activities, food and day trips ended up being the favourite elements of our trip and we met great people along the way!

Close to the station I was expecting a typical Hostel, but in a residential area behind a decorated entrace is a Hostel offering a single room for every guest. Slippers are offered at the entrance and on first floor is the common room offering everything you ask for. The whole hostel is decorated with cliché Japanese items.

The beds were super comfortable! The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shower was great. The location was perfect! The room was quiet and well lit with a nice style to the decor. There were plenty of power outlets.

Attractively situated in the Nishinari Ward district of Osaka, The Familiar Inn ー 旅館ホテル業 is set less than 1 km from Tsurumibashi Shopping Street, a 17-minute walk from Tsumori Shrine and 1.8 km from... The host was very kind, the location was very near station. The place is very clean & warm.

Situated in Hashimoto, 23 km from Subaru Hall, 仁昌堂ホテル features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. Very easy to travel to and from. Easy check-in and very clean facilities.

Boasting a terrace, FL House 浪花町 is situated in the centre of Osaka, less than 1 km from Nozaki Park. The property is close to Hankyu Men's Osaka, Catholic Osaka Umeda Church and Hosei-ji Temple. Very comfortable and clean and beautifully designed. A few reviews note that you have to go through downstairs shower area to go upstairs but there is enough privacy, so not really an issue. You do have to go through upper bedroom to go up on the roof, but to be honest we didn't use that area very often as it was just too hot! Good wifi and the TV has Netflix etc if you have accounts. Good location; not so touristy more genuine Osaka! Close to huge shopping street so no problems with food etc.
