Kyono Mori Yurinsha ligger i Kyoto, 1,7 kilometer fra Sanjusangen-do (tempel). Her bor du med utsikt over byen. Fantastic location in a quiet street, city centre within walking distance. Some cute shops, cafes, restaurants nearby. 7-Eleven convenience store in 5min walking distance. Room was comfy, quiet, and had all the essentials. The owners were so polite, kind and accommodating. They truly created a beautiful space there. The breakfast was excellent and we recommend adding it to your reservation.

The location is simply perfect. You just need to step out early in the morning to see the streets of Gion without crowds. Kiyomizu-dera is a short walk away. The room is quite spacious compared to regular Japanese hotels. The interiors are quite nice.

This was the first "real" hotel my cousin and I stayed at while in Japan (others being Hostels and Capsule Hotels), so this felt like we were staying at a palace. It was great to have a shower and washer/dryer in our room. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel staff was also very friendly and accommodating; they even helped me locate a water bottle that I thought I had lost and held it for me to pick up later. The area was also very nice; we were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit while in Kyoto.
