This was our absolute favorite accommodation we have ever stayed at (and we have traveled all over the world as a family!) The concept is just so incredibly cool. The cafe is yours to use as you wish. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and it can accommodate my whole family of 5 comfortably. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. There is a beautiful and extremely well-stocked grocery store right across the street! I cannot recommend this place more highly than 10+++ stars. Please do yourself a favor and book this hotel. If we ever return to Matsumoto we will surely return. Thank you Cafe & Stay for the wonderful memories!

Situated within 8.2 km of Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area and 43 km of Nagano Station, Karamatsu Lodge features rooms in Hakuba. The rooms and common area were very clean. The facilty is quiet and easy to access from the train station. They have all the appliances and items in the kitchen and resting area . Perfect for long stays.

Situated in Hakuba and with Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable within 14 km, sneaky peaks features a garden, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a shared lounge. Very friendly and helpful staff, creating a comfortable environment to stay in. They were particularly helpful with transportation as we didn’t have a car with us.

Situated within 22 km of Ryuoo Ski Park and 33 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park, Sunshine Kyohei features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Nozawa Onsen. Staff were lovely and so helpful. Huge breakfast. Great location to the lifts and you get discount at Thanx rental. Fresh towels each day and hotel is kept so clean.

Restmance Pension Woody Hill is situated in Iiyama, within 25 km of Ryuoo Ski Park and 30 km of Jigokudani Monkey Park. This 2-star inn offers a ski pass sales point, a shared lounge and free WiFi. They had a friendly feel with guests often congregating around the bar in the evening.. With not a lot to do in Madarao some evenings it was nice to be able to unwind on Woody Hill.

First Tracks Madarao has a garden, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Iiyama. The staff were the kindest people I've encountered on a ski trip! Always proposing to help, giving good tips and tricks, bringing us to the slopes.. they made our stay exceptional. Nice common room with fun games, tv, books... It's a nice warming place to have a good tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Location was convenient, only few minutes walk from bar, restaurant, Onsen and the slopes.

Located in Hakuba, within 11 km of Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area and 42 km of Nagano Station, Piremon provides accommodation with a garden and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private... The owner was excellent, dropped us off to the ski resorts daily without fail, was super helpful and the room was perfect for what we needed! Lovely dogs too!

Situated in Nozawa Onsen, 21 km from Ryuoo Ski Park, Villa Kubota features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. This 2-star inn has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom. I appreciated the proximity to the bus stop. The rooms were big, spacious, and clean, which I also liked. Additionally, it was within walking distance to the ski lifts.
