This was our absolute favorite accommodation we have ever stayed at (and we have traveled all over the world as a family!) The concept is just so incredibly cool. The cafe is yours to use as you wish. The bedrooms are nicely decorated and it can accommodate my whole family of 5 comfortably. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. There is a beautiful and extremely well-stocked grocery store right across the street! I cannot recommend this place more highly than 10+++ stars. Please do yourself a favor and book this hotel. If we ever return to Matsumoto we will surely return. Thank you Cafe & Stay for the wonderful memories!

The rooms and common area were very clean. The facilty is quiet and easy to access from the train station. They have all the appliances and items in the kitchen and resting area . Perfect for long stays.

Mat & Jen and all other staff were really friendly, everyday after skiing we just gathered at the common room eating and chitchatting, the feeling of the stay was like travelling with a bunch of friends. The place was really clean and tidy, and the number of toilets and bathroom are more than adequate.

The room is quite spacious, has aircon/ heater, and a wash basin is a big plus. The staff has been trying hard to make our stay comfortable. Location is very good, close to both skiing areas.

The host was super lovely and went out of his way to make us comfortable and enjoy the trip, including lots of driving around (picking up/dropping off at the bus stop, taking us to the supermarket, as well as to HappoOne + onsen given buses aren’t running yet). He was very responsive and assisted with the wifi and laundry machine. The property had everything you need in a small apartment - clean spacious room with Netflix, private bathroom, shared kitchen with essentials, laundry/dryer machine, snow gear dryer room. Lots of heating that keeps the room warm. Location is right across from the main Goryu gondola. Downstairs is a rental shop where you can get some gear (discount provided from staying at Lift Inn).

The bed is very comfortable. It’s a perfect choice for your ski trip or exploring the area in the green season. The hotel is close to convenience store open from 10am to 20pm there are restaurant and cafes nearby. There is a big ski room, and you can dry your gears. You can buy your ski-pass with a discount directly at the holes. The owner and the staff are amazing. the breakfast is lovely. I will come back! MADARO mountain is great!

The view from the self contained apartment is magic. It is so convenient to ski in and ski out. Nick warmly welcomed us and was there during our stay to answer to all our questions or accommodate our requests.

I appreciated the proximity to the bus stop. The rooms were big, spacious, and clean, which I also liked. Additionally, it was within walking distance to the ski lifts.
