I Ipoh, 15 minutters gange fra Ipoh Parade kjøpesenter, ligger The Farmhouse, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering og en terrasse. From the second we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome and at home. It's all decorated in a cottage core style which is adorable but still comfortable. The rooms are on the cozy side but super clean, easy to keep cool with a comfy bed. It was big enough to have both our large bags up off the floor and out of the way though. The en suite in contrast was big with a large shower and felt modern with lots of toiletries. The communal areas are huge. The lounge had an enormous TV, large dining table with plenty of chairs and sofa. There were lots of snacks priced very fairly which felt more for guest convenience than pushing for profits (some items were actually a bit cheaper than the local small store). Although there was room for all the guest rooms there were only 2 other rooms booked when we were there so pretty much had the place to ourselves as one couple were quietly working on their laptop most of the time in the other lounge. There's a large supermarket about 20 min walk away or cheap grab away. We'd been travelling a while so took advantage of access to healthy food and the space in the communal fridge to eat healthier and relax in the lounge for a few days. 10 minutes walk away on one of the main streets was a big choice of restaurants and cafes. Lots of choice and still open regular hours despite Ramadan and a very close breakfast and coffee place just round the corner (7 warna on Google). Be careful following Google in the opposite direction to other restaurants as many are closed and it will be a wasted walk. Better to head North. The roads are quiet except the one big main road bit still easy to cross to get to the better street.

The Ranch ligger i Ipoh, 4,5 kilometer fra AEON Mall Kinta City og 8,7 kilometer fra AEON Mall Ipoh Station 18. I booked family suite with two rooms, three queen beds; two bathrooms. Very spacious, well furnished as well as very beautifully decorated. The premise has common lounge, kitchen and dining. There is a refrigerator, microwave oven, water dispenser in the kitchen. The hotel also provide a washing machine as a kind gesture. The hotel is surrounded with many interesting eateries nearby, either walking distance or short drive away (Greentown business center). Ipoh Parade is just 10 minutes walking. I consider myself very fortunate for choosing The Ranch, out of so many nice vacation rentals in Ipoh.

I Kuala Kangsar, 40 kilometer fra AEON Mall Kinta City, ligger Chalet Meroloh Kuala Kangsar, som har en terrasse, gratis privat parkering og en restaurant. it was behind the golf course, so it was well lilted and easy to find. There was a small kitchen with washing sink which is very convenient. We had lunch in the cafe nearby which was very reasonable and food was delicious.

Home Inn (M4) ligger i Seri Manjung i Perak, 48 kilometer fra Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP). Sultan Azlan Shah lufthavn ligger 75 kilometer unna. Room was good size actually very nice. This is a no contact hotel had some minor issues getting in there is just a door on the street with lock boxes. Four blocks from bus terminal. I will stay there again.
