It was how I imagined a vacation and disconnect from busy Metro life would be. the location was perfect as its a 3-min walk to the main road and easy walk to some restaurants but also a couple of mins walking distance to the beach. the place was quiet, surrounded by nature. staff were really nice! thank you Ms Nana, Ms Cora and Sir Rene for making my stay wonderful!

Not just the room, but the outdoors as well is spotlessly clean, by far the cleanest place I've stayed at during my 5 months in the country. It's not very often rooms have clean mirrors, but here they were sparkling clean. Don't get put off by the seemingly boring 'highway location'. The very modern and almost new rooms are out on the back. Each of them has a private patio with a proper western size table and chairs. DS as well. The spacious room came with a good Aircon, a fridge, a kettle and a bed lamp, in addition to a huge amount of electric outlets, even outside on the patio. Excellent lighting. The bathroom was also spacious, and came with a divider by the shower. Hot shower, toilet paper and toiletries. The WiFi is very good. Excellent location near the port for the ferries to Bohol. It's very fast and cheap to get to and from town with the frequent Motorelas. I'm a budget traveller so with cheap, I mean cheap. I don't drive a motorbike, so if I knew this place was as nice as it was, and that the transport from here was so easy, then I would have stayed here for my entire week, instead of jumping around to different hotels.

Felicidad Pension House exceeded all my expectations in every way. Will stay only here every time I'm in Gensan. Highly recommended. Everything, really! Clean, beautiful quiet room and very well decorated, very comfy bed and towel linens, fresh aircon, free wi-fi, the balcony with a rope to dry your clothes, the rooftop relaxing place with free water refills, free instant coffee, table games and amazing sea view. The owner Ken (Kenneth) was always contactable to help you out with whatever you needed like booking tours and transportation to the airport for really low price. The rooms are very good value for money. I will definitely stay there again, and again!
