Although it is a bit outside the city, the panoramic view surpasses the distance. You don’t need advanced driving skills to get to the property as previous reviewers commented. The place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for our one night stay. The quietness of the surrounding will give you perfect sleeping conditions. Good cost/benefit ratio!

I Funchal, bare 14 minutters gange fra Almirante Reis-stranden og 1,2 kilometer fra Funchal marina, ligger Casa Valhalla, som har gratis WiFi. Very smooth and hassle-free booking. Excellent self check-in instructions, clear and well described. Despite the central location, finding parking on nearby streets was not an issue. The place had everything I needed and was perfect for a short stay before departure - a comfortable base after trekking and exploring Madeira, with easy access to the city for last-minute shopping.
