I travelled by train from Porto to Pocinho which is a somewhat remote station. The hotel arranged in advance a taxi for me which was there on my arrival. It brought me straight to the hotel where I received a very warm welcome indeed. The hotel itself is beautiful with period furnishings. I left by bus from the nearby bus station the next day and before leaving had a delicious breakfast which included scrambled eggs cooked specially for me.

Parking spots available at the location. The staff is very friendly, especially Jack with his jokes and interesting stories from his life. Next time we are in Portugal we will most probably come back here and stay a litte longer than 2 nights. The Geres Park has a lot to offer.
