The inn has family rooms. Our hosts were super friendly , always happy to help, breakfast included was really tasty, we also ate diner twice and it was traditional and tasteful. Rooms were simple but sufficient, and it was easy to go everywhere in the park. Around there were cafes and restaurants, and a little swimming area of the village . Highly recommended. We took 2 separate rooms , 1 for us and toddler, 1 for 2 big kids, the place is small and intimate and it was very comfortable.

For a winter visit, the hotel was very rustic and cozy. Very clean and with lots of air conditioning to keep it warm in the suite. Walks outside in nature were just perfect after a dinner at the great restaurant. Wonderful view from the room and a huge terrace. Staff were all professional and friendly, although some friendlier than others. Overall, hard to fault anything, was a wonderful, relaxing stay in an historic property surrounded by nature.
Staff was able to respond to an issue that had ruined the first night. Breakfast is above the 4 star for sure a lot of choices there. The bar/small restaurant is a very cozy and great environment. Parking on the spot without any issues. If you are really hungry ask for the buffet at dinner its a lot really a lot of food. Would come again for sure.
The staff were very helpful. We ate dinners on two nights at the pousada and they were excellent. The view of the valley from our room was very nice. The pousda was at least one kilometer from town. Signage along the road guides drivers to the facility.
All the staff was amazing and made us feel at home. Food and drinks were top notch. It's well worth the dinning experience. It might look expensive at first but the wine pairing is already included in the price. Wine tasting is free for the guests There are several walking trails in the property with several levels of difficulty (some have long steep climbs). All of them are very well identified and provide wonderfull views over the estate and the river.
The room was comfortable (as was the bed). The bathroom was complete and very spacious. The staff were helpful and polite. We had the buffet à lá carte dinner on our first evening and it was delicious. We really want to return for another getaway from the daily routine!
The location was perfect to explore the natural surroundings of the park, and while you definitely need a car to make the most of it, it sits at a perfect distance to all major points of interest. The room itself was very charming and we had a lovely terrace that provided a wonderful spot for breakfasts and dinners. The staff was kind and always available. If the room was missing anything they gladly provided it when requested.
This is a very nice small hotel. The location is inside a quiet farm and the hotel has a very good swimming pool. My room was very good with a pleasant balcony facing the swimming pool. The breakfast was good, even in covid-19 time and the restaurant was good as well for a dinner.
This is a unique property in a more remote area. We stopped here so we could take a nighttime tour of the famous Foz Coa rock art with the guest house owner, who is a licensed guide. That was definitely the highlight of our stop, but we also enjoyed the delicious home-cooked dinner they provided and exploring Castelo Rodrigo, where the guest house is located in a 12th century cistern. The room was reasonably comfortable and good value.
