To anyone who’s considering booking a room here: do it, it’s a one of a kind experience(just like everything else in life for that matter). The place features multiple separated accommodations for 2 or more people and one accommodation for one. That’s where I stayed for 3 nights. It was fantastic. On one side(where the entrance is) there’s the road and on the opposite side there’s jungle with everything that comes along such as sounds you’ll probably never hear in the western world (well maybe in a zoo), all sorts of crickets, birds that sing and probably communicate through singing. The owner is German or actually was german cos he’s been living here for a long time. Really cool guy, has a life story of his own. Him and his wife run the place beautifully, I can’t praise it enough. Plants everywhere, a few cats, at least one dog, it’s bliss. They also serve a variety of breakfast options, they rent scooters, they can also hook you up with transfer tickets to anywhere Bangkok or further south connect islands, whether shared or private, and at least 20% cheaper than if you were to get them through well known operators. The room had a fan which I’ve only used at the first speed, I didn’t need more. There’s a large toilet and bathroom combo downstairs, a terrace/balcony feature with an ashtray ;) what more would you ask for? Bonus: there’s a beautiful beach less than 200 meters away

The room has a large refrigerator, plenty of space for your belongings, and a normal dryer for those who are staying for a long time, which is a lifesaver. The pool is excellent, and you can easily spend the whole day there. I could go on and on about the advantages, but it's better to come and see everything for yourself. The last time we stayed here for almost a month, and it was extremely comfortable. By the way, you can rent a bike right on site, which is very convenient. The Crazy Monkey and Bungalows are steps away from lonely beach central All Night Party :) A short walk to amazing beaches water fun for all levels of swimmers!! Inexpensive and well worth the relaxing moments in the surrounding Lonely beach area !!
