We got upgraded to a room with fireplace which was amazing. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and helpful, offering many suggestions for places to eat and hikes nearby. The breakfast was simple but delicious. All in all, we couldn't have had a better stay!

Also an easy walk over the bridge to Portsmouth, NH. Can't wait to go back and experience this location in different seasons.

Steve, the proprietor, was attentive to our every need. We were traveling with an elderly person and he made sure we were all comfortable. His inn is located conveniently to the purpose of our trip and has the most lush and beautiful private gardens. The Inn has a large common room and enclosed porch. We were able to have a lovely visit with family for a while. Steve helped us get the parking under control though I think we still parked in the wrong direction!

Mike was so friendly and welcoming. House was so nicely decorated, good rooms, tt was clean, bikes for free, games for the kids and a beautiful terrace and garden. All you need to enjoy a peaceful time in Maine. Can not recommend this place enough.
