The place was very cozy and it was close to all the beaches. Everything in the cottage was right at your fingertips and the bed was very comfortable. We'll be planning to stay again soon. It made an early birthday getaway spectacular.

Situated within 1.8 km of Glendale Cove Beach and 500 metres of Peabody Essex Museum, The Merchant features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Salem. Location! History! and Amazing Staff. We were so thrilled to stay at the Merchant for the proximity to everything. And how cool to stay in one of the well known historical buildings in all of Salem!! I cannot speak more highly of the staff who were so attentive and helpful pre-arrival and then through our stay. They are not on site in the evenings (after 5pm) and there are not elevators if that's something you require.

Room was beautiful well decorated with elegance! Very comfortable and cozy! Fireplace and jacuzzi tub were great in room bonuses! Beautiful views I’m sure would be much better in Summer months! But was a great Valentine’s get away with my sweetheart!!! No complaints!!!

Periwinkle has been completely renovated to a high standard and was designed by Nantucket Looms. The inn is set to reopen Memorial Day Weekend, 2023! It was conveniently located in the centre of the village. Bright airy and lovely to see the rabbits in the garden every day.

Bed was very comfortable. Great shower. Easy access and location. Great price for a 2-night stay off season. Would definitely visit again. Thank you
