The host was truly wonderful – very kind, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. The house is beautifu and clean. Her dog is also incredibly friendly. We and our dog had a fantastic stay. The bed is very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. This stay was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks for the great recommendations on places to visit – we really enjoyed them as well. Everything in Miramont is absolutely idyllic. We were looking for a little hostel tucked away in the mountains where we could go horse riding and that is exactly what we found and much more. The place is run by a family where the owner, David, personally prepares breakfast and dinner for you (which is by the way amazingly delicious). They try to accommodate any need that you have and it’s clear that they are continuously working on the hostel to improve the experiences of their guests. The horses are lovely and super well trained and David is clearly very knowledgeable about them. My boyfriend and I were both beginners and our horses, Lucky and Duco, were super obedient and made us feel comfortable and safe for the whole ride. Sending a big thank you for such an amazing stay, we really hope to come back sometime soon!
