The rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent! The sauna was small, but very nice and clean. The location of the hotel is great for hiking, which we did.

I’ll try my hardest to put into words how absolutely blissful our vacation was at the Donner house. Petra welcomed us into a spacious, beautifully decorated and perfectly equipped getaway house. She and her husband were so sweet and thoughtful throughout our whole stay, explaining all we needed to know to enjoy our stay as much as possible. They prepared the hot tub for us every day we stayed there, introduced us to their 3 adorable alpacas, dog and cat. It was a dream come true waking up, sipping coffee while looking at the alpacas, going out for a hike and coming back to a relaxing hot tub with jets and bubbles. Luckily, they have a fully equipped cabinet with glasses, so we were able to have drinks at the hot tub. Will definitely come back in the future. May the Donner family continue to succeed! They’re the perfect hosts and deserve all the best.
