The harbour view from the room window was stunningly beautiful. The Regent staff from managers to receptionists to porters to doormen were really friendly and welcoming. Like to say a big thank you to Sandy who took my registration when I arrived. She escorted me to my room and placed a bowel of fruits to welcome me. A big thank you to Anna the chambermaid and Tony the porter for their exceptional friendly services. Regent Hotel does HK proud.

The room was very spacious and had everything you needed to relax. Great toiletries included and great sized bath. The neighbourhood is very quiet, but that was what I was after. Definitely would stay again. The bonus is the great views over the water.

The basic room was very small so we upgraded to a bigger one for something like £3 extra. Totally worth it. The first one we had no space for our bags. It was either the bags or us. The units have private bathroom, but don't expect to have a relaxing shower as it wont happen. You will wash yourself on the top of the WC. Everything was clean though, dated but clean. Location is very good and well connected. I can't complain as we new it would be a budget stay, as we only needed a place to sleep after a day trip to Macau.

I am sorry to say that because the staff was very nice, but it was not the best experience. The dorm for 6 people is extremely tiny, there is no space to keep your stuff there. To add to that, there are some people who live there waiting to get working visa and cook inside the room(!) that already is a challenge to relax there, keep there dirty dishes etc. The bed is all shaking if somebody else is moving which meant for me being woken up every single hour. The door to the bathroom doesn’t close fully….
