We hit the jackpot with this booking!! Every single thing was perfect! Location: right off the one-way road in to Old town, bakery (went daily) pub (Tata’s - go!) grocery store (has pretty much everything) laundromat (expensive but clean), bus stop (easy) and down a small set of stairs. 10 min walk to Pile Gate. View of the fortress & set behind a locked gate for privacy. Are there stairs everywhere? Yup! But.. you can take the main road if it easier. Hostess: Antonia met us at the main road to help us find the apartment. Gave us all kinds of tips a was just so lovely. She and her family live in the property but you never see them. Apartment: is so modern, it was divine. Slippers, robes, HOT shower, plugs everywhere, coffee, dishes, smart tv for streaming services and the hot tub (make sure you up the temp before you leave for the day so it’s perfect when you get back) Bed was comfortable, dead quiet both day and night. We actually napped for hours on the terrace one day. Tips: go to the old wall first thing before the crowds hit. Book an a sunset cruise around the Island with champagne to kick off your holiday and book a semi-private tour with Marko to Mostar! A 90 minute small bus tour around Dubrovnik is also a good way to get situated. Leaves from Pile gate. If you take the cable car (overrated imho) venture off to the left (if facing the top) and after some parking areas and garbage stalls there’s a wild museum. If you go around sunset - the third floor to get the most amazing views. Anyhow, stop looking for anywhere else to stay in Dubrovnik - this is it!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the apartment was comfy, clean and had everything we needed. Relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day was bliss The view of the sea from the garden is beautiful. The location was great, it's away from the busy centre of Dubrovnik but a short taxi away. The host was very nice and accommodating with parking. Would 100% stay here again.
