We spent our honeymoon at Lux Belle Mare*, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, everything was perfect. A special shoutout to Babita, the lovely lady who took care of our room — it was always spotless, beautifully arranged, and she added such a warm, personal touch to our stay. Thank you, Babita! As honeymooners, we were treated to so many thoughtful surprises: cocktails and appetizers delivered to our room, a wonderful couple’s spa treatment, and a private cooking class, all arranged seamlessly by a dedicated celebration manager who made everything feel effortless. The food was fantastic, with plenty of delicious options at every meal. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the quality and presentation were top-notch. Lux* Belle Mare isn’t just a beautiful resort — it’s a place where you’re truly cared for. We left with full hearts and lifelong memories. So 'Luxury Resort Villa' is a bit misleading as the villa itself is not really 'luxury' but Anahita resort itself is (along with a luxury price tag). The villa is comfortable enough and quiet but the decor is very dated/dark and had several issues detailed below and in photos. We felt the description of it having 'a pool with a view' misleading. It has what amounts to a small plunge pool that you can cool off in full view of the restaurant across the water. Anahita is aimed squarely at golfers with deep pockets, most of whom are on inclusive packages. If you stay at the villa you will be billed for everything, down to bottled water, so the 25% 'resident' discount doesn't go very far. We also felt we were treated as second-class guests as we weren't on a package at the main resort. On arrival, the reception staff didn't greet us or introduce the resort. Just checked us in and gave us a key card. Some of the individual staff were very friendly and made a fuss of our kids. It was the overall level of service we got for a premium resort that just felt off. For example. being given tables away from other guests and with no wifi with which to entertain the kids. You also have to book for dinner to ensure you get fed, and cannot eat before 7pm even with young children. This is all a bit weird in a place that has a kids club ($60 per kid per day if under 4). That aside, the resort is beautiful, the pool and private beach amazing and the food is great. We also did a golf taster class so maybe we'll come back for an all-inclusive treat one day!

Very spacious, airy, and bright. Downstairs bedroom with en-suite was a bonus for us. Swimming pool was great. WiFi excellent.

Large room and bathroom, nicely decorated, slight seaview from room, good location for town access and supermarkets and cafes, nice outdoor and pool areas, good taxi service connected to family run hotel (Manoj). Hotel allowed us to extend stay due to delayed flight for extra euros.

We really liked staying at Le Clos de Bains in Blue Bay. It was located really close to the beach & within very short drive of the airport. They also provided very good recommendations. They helped us book a snorkeling tour in the bay, which picked us up right at the beachfront near the hotel. They also recommended (and could book via telephone) The Bamboo Restaurant & Bar, which had amazing food and cocktails!

The property has a fantastic elevated view and is very spacious with loads of places to sit and enjoy the view. The pool and jacuzzi make up for the fact that one has to drive to the beach or take a boat to Ile aux cerf from the private jetty. The house has everything you could possibly need for comfort and entertainment, including a pool table. The enclosed wrap around verandah means that you can enjoy the view even in bad weather. I believe that they are busy constructing a staircase down to a small beach on the left that will enable one to walk around the bay. That will be a really nice addition. Shops and restaurants are close by but it is nice to have a car for exploring. Isabelle cooked us some delicious meals and Kathy the property manager was extremely helpful.
