New ZealandWe found it very hard to find any fault with this hotel. It is positioned on a hill overlooking the main town and mining area of Roros, a short 5min walk down the road (or alternatively, there is a trail). Our room and bathroom were large and fully functional, the buffet breakfast was one of the best we've had in Norway, and the added bonus was a basement gym (with both machines and a small weight room), along with a 1-washing machine laundry area. We only had one night here, but could easily have stayed for several. If you are bringing mountain bikes with you, there are some awesome trails in the area! The really cool thing about this hotel is that it isn't used by tour groups, meaning you don't have mass groups filling up the breakfast restaurant.

United StatesI enjoyed the location because it wasn’t in the heart of the city and allowed some peace and quiet in the outskirts. The heated floors in the bathroom were a pleasant surprise, I’ve never encountered that before in all my travels.

Spacious rooms and comfortable bed and had also spa facilities even though we didn’t try them out. We travelled with dogs and happily surprised that they did not charge extra for bringing them

The room was large - very good size.
The pool and sauna area were really lovely. A couple of spa pools - inside and outside. A great way to unwind.
Breakfast was good.

We really enjoyed the hotelroom, the very friendly receprion and bar staff. The spa was great (better at friday when there was a lot less guests than saturday). The room was super Nice and clean! We got to borrow a «spark» free of charge for our trips down to the town witch was great. Røros is a beautiful city you should visit!
