Very nicely renovated historic hotel, with stylish furnishings and details. The staff were friendly and the chef was excellent. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel and were very impressed. Location is also very close to everything in the town - springs, spa, hiking…

The chalets are great, it is a brand new construction so everything smells new ;). The hot water jacuzzi on the porch is great for relaxation during the day but also during the night next to a glass of wine or cocktail. Very good idea with the interior hammock, my kid loved to sleep on it. I would have expected the location to be more secluded from the main road but the good surprise is that even if it is pretty close to the main road, it is not disturbing. Also, there is the possibility to eat just next to the resort in a restaurant where you find really good food at very good prices.

I loved everything about this place, starting with them letting us check in an hour early. They gave us good instructions for parking safely. I can't tell you how appreciated an adequate and convenient parking lot is! It was easy once we got the codes, though at one point we got a message from the host "I think your husband is struggling with the code". He just didn't know to turn the door handle, but it was so charming they checked the camera and reached out. There wasn't a washer, and the only laundromat in town had unfortunately closed early. I was looking for other options when the hosts contacted me again asking what it was that I needed washed, and offered to wash the items for me! I decided to hold off for another town on another day, but just the fact that they took the initiative and made the offer was noteworthy. My goodness, how's that for excellent service?! The apartment itself has a nice entry hall with hooks for your coats, with a kitchenette just off the entryway. It had a great fridge/freezer and a pod-type coffee machine. It appeared to have all you'd need to cook your meals for a longer stay. The living room was really quite big, with a nice TV and a dining room table in one corner, and a huge coffee table and great pull-out couch. It was perfect for enjoying a family movie night! The bathroom was very nice, and I'm picky about bathrooms. It didn't have a shower curtain or door, but the room was clearly made for water all over the floor and it wasn't a problem at all! Having a separate bedroom was really nice as a kind of "marker" that we're transitioning from relaxation to sleep. There was a nice chair in there so you could dress comfortably. There was a wardrobe along one wall and a bedside table. But the star of the whole excellent show is the mattress. What a treat! I need to know the brand/model.
