We stayed in one of the small houses/studio by the sea with own jacuzzi. It was magnificent!! We loved our own sauna space that during summer is turned into a relaxing room with an outstanding sea view! Everything was amazing but that which touched us the most was the professionalism of the staff and of the people in charge. Specific needs/situations were met and resolved with the highest professionalism as I had yet not met before ( and I do travel a lot both in Sweden and abroad). Thank you so much to all staff and to this amazing place that made my daughter’s 21th birthday an unforgettable one ♥️ And as a touch of pure grace, we had the amazing experience to see and touch the bioluminescence of “ Mareld” that were present by the shore so close to our studio! Better we could not ask for! Will definitely come back…and not only once!

Fabulous area, wild coastline and very quiet. The staff were helpful and of course spoke good English! The hotel has a west facing deck which was great for dinner outside, ( we were lucky with the weather!). The food was good and breakfast plentiful. Coffee as in much of Sweden was lacklustre. The village is a holiday destination for Swedes who bring everything with them to their own houses and cabins. There is no shop and no cafe apart from the hotel which is 300 m up the hill from the sea. There is a good bathing beach on a lane leading south west from the village centre.
