Nice and quiet, the breakfast was very good. The BBQ on the beach was also delicious, and the cocktails were great. The room was a good size, and it was close to everything in Lamai. The staff was very friendly and accommodating; they made a surprise birthday cake for my girlfriend, which was a very nice surprise!

Our experience at The Rock in Koh Samui was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. What a sweet little property within a stone's throw of Lamai Beach! Francois the host really cares about the place...it's super clean, with a great pool and very comfortable lounge chairs. I felt it was a real bargain, and Francois was very good about making sure I was taken care of.

The hotel's staff were friendly and helpful. Mai was especially lovely and her English was very good which helped with communication. The hotel is very central with a lot of shops, restaurants, and massage parlours nearby. A 7 Eleven is around the corner. The pool was refreshing and clean. It was handy to have a kitchen with a fridge, bowls, plates, and cutlery, and a microwave to heat up food the next day. Lamai Night Market is a walk down the road and it had some really yummy food options which were inexpensive and delicious.
