Gorgeous chalet in a stunning location, we absolutely loved it! The chalet has fabulous views and was furnished beautifully. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped (though store cupboard essentials were minimal: some salt and oil would have been appreciated). The beds were large and very comfortable and the bathrooms were great too with excellent showers. We enjoyed our visit to the sauna area (additional charge) and whilst there was no washing machine in the chalet, use of the shared laundry facilities was easy and much appreciated. We had quite a few storms during our week, so didn't use the outside space very often, but we all really enjoyed the newly added pool table in the chalet. The hosts are lovely people and were extremely helpful with suggestions of local activities and places to visit. We had a great week, thank you!

The staff was really helpful and friendly, the room was very nice and the pool was nice to make the most of the summer days. Really recommended

There is nice and cozy spa area on the -1 floor. And the owner (manager) of the hotel is a wonderful person.

Our seat was assigned which we enjoyed. The selection of foods was very generous. the staff were attentive. The man preparing the omelets/eggs was most friendly, professional and attentive to what we wanted. we have already recommended HotelSpielmann to our friends and family!

This privately owned Alpine-style design hotel is located in the centre of Oberammergau, 700 metres from the Passion Theatre. Hotel Maximilian offers design rooms and a spa area. Honestly it was perfect. Really clean and spacious room, nice gym and sauna facilities and an awesome breakfast. Even the restaurant was good, highly recommend this hotel! Really accommodating staff as well!
