APTO prox UFAM, INPA e DISTRITO está ubicado en Manaos, a 7,8 km de Teatro Amazon, y tiene alojamiento con hidromasaje. It is clear the apartment has been recently renovated. All rooms were nice and clean and I think the apartment is very well equipped so you can comfortably stay for a week or so (in my case, two weeks and a half). There is no washing machine, but there is a self-service laundry right next to the apartment complex. The apartment complex itself is very nice and calm, with lots of trees (you might be lucky and get some free jambo or mango!) which feels almost like entering in a different dimension compared to the busy avenue right in front of it. The apartment is located in a very good spot in Manaus city. There are two supermarkets within 1km distance (you can literally go walking there. Getting back using uber is super affordable). Right next to the complex there is a commercial center with a bakery, drugstore and some food shops. Also, the neighborhood is relatively safe (compared to the dangerous parts of the city. Still, you need to be aware of your surroundings and pay attention to your belongings!). The host is also super nice and helped us with some issues we found in the apartment (the tap for the sink in the service area was not working and she promptly sent someone to come over and fix it). Also, small tip: The lights in the kitchen, rooms and bathroom can be switched on to rather yellow or white light. When you first turn it on, it turns on yellow. If you quickly turn it off and then on again, it turns on white. I only found out this around the beginning of my second week there and cooking became much easier cause I could actually see things in the kitchen with the white lights xD I am very satisfied with our stay and I will recommend it to everyone considering visiting Manaus :D
