Apple House is a beautiful hotel, 5 fantastic swimming pools, a great games room for our children and they loved the ice cream shop too. The restaurant has fabulous room and the breakfast is to die for, so much choice and the desserts are unreal. The staff are amazing, everyone we met walking along greats you a big smile, the stay go out of their way to do everything for you from checking in to arranging the transfers into Paraty each day and evening. Tassiana was amazing for organising the boat cruise, which was unbelievable, she really couldn’t do enough for us. Going up and beyond and awaiting when we needed some urgent laundry taken care of she arrange this for us too and also arranging a really nice transfer for us to Ilha Grande. Thank you Tassiana for everything and all the other staff at Apple House.

The location was amazing, the property was safe, the hot tub was incredible, the breakfast included was so amazing and there was lots of it, it’s close to a very nice beach (10 minutes walking) and it’s easy to get an uber to the centre.

Villa Tiê was without a doubt one of the highlights of our entire trip. The overall vibe of the place was on point — it felt like a true hidden villa, tucked away yet full of charm, making every return to it after a day out feel special. The consistent white and light blue palette across the property set the tone for two moods we fell in love with: during the day, it offered this endless-summer feel with hammocks, vintage furniture and an eye-pleasing aesthetic that made us want to linger; at night, the warm lighting and cozy ambiance created the perfect setting to unwind and rest for another day of exploring. To top it all off, the staff was genuinely helpful. Arthur, in particular, gave us two unforgettable recommendations (a boat ride and a jeep tour) that ended up shaping our entire Paraty experience. We loved every second!

He gave us several recommendations for restaurants that turned out great. Every morning he offered fresh coffee and fruits from the garden. He was quick to respond to questions WhatsApp. The room and the facilities were great and cosy. We would highly recommend Casa Grande Flats for your stay in Vila do Abrãao.

The view is absolutely beautiful, the kind of scenery you don’t forget. The breakfast was delicious every morning and really made the experience even better. Vanessa, the owner, was incredibly friendly and such a fantastic person — she made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Highly recommended!
