Located on the Réserve faunique de Matane reserve in the heart of the Chic-Chocs Mountains, this lodge is surrounded by hiking trails and wildlife. This is a fantastic lodge set in its own unspoiled mountain playground. It is rare to have a high-class hotel found in such a stunning location without having to share with other tourists. The staff are superb, and the Guides had encyclopedic knowledge of the local area and the extensive wildlife. Nothing was too much. The lodge really felt like a 'home from home'. So many activites to do - hiking, canoeing, E-biking to name a few.

Located within 11 km of reford gardens and 20 km of The Onondaga Submarine, Quality Inn & Suites Mont-Joli provides rooms in Mont-Joli. Property was very impressive. Beautifully clean and well laid out. Great swimming pool, sauna and hot tub. Good breakfast.

Riotel Matane is located directly on the beach and offer views of the Saint Lawrence and Matane rivers. The hotel offers an indoor pool and a seasonal outdoor pool. Free WiFi is included. We were just passing through off the ferry and expected a Travelodge, having not used a Riotel before, but were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel and the welcome, at a very good price. We were able to enjoy the sunset by a firepit on the beach with a good beer, and use the pool. In the morning we had a very good home cooked breakfast. The room itself was comfortable with good facilities. The staff were all friendly and accommodating.
