Staff was super fun and friendly. Beautiful hotel and gardens. Location is superb, close to square, restaurants (we loved the hotel’s restaurant the best!), and locked parking a few feet down the road. Definitely recommend!

Genuinely friendly, welcoming, passionate hosts. Excellent, breakfast served by an outstandingly courteous lady. The container-rooms are immaculately clean and nicely decorated. They however provide very limited space (not suited for large or claustrophobic people). You need to use your own Wifi.

Featuring an outdoor pool and a spa and wellness centre, Departamento Jardin del Mar La Serena offers a self-catering apartment in La Serena. This apartment was the perfect respite for my family of five for a couple of nights during a long travel. Everything you need is inside, the kitchen appointed with everything you’d need, water pressure and temperature in showers excellent. The main bed was extremely comfortable, the pillows top notch, and lots of good comforters as it gets quite cool in the evening. The balcony was a second living space the entire time we were there, we kept the doors open almost always to catch the gorgeous sea breeze and listen to the waves. Extremely walkable, just cross the street and go right for plenty of cafes, restaurants and bars. Perfect little 1 hour walk to the lighthouse to get your bearings. Very secure, and the security guards at the front got to know us really quickly which made it easy to come and go. Laying out by the pool was perfect in the late afternoon, the pool, grounds and common areas are immaculately kept. The host even accommodated a late checkout at very last minute notice so we wouldn’t have to loiter around the bus stop longer than required and answered messages almost immediately and was very friendly. 10/10 recommend.

Featuring free WiFi access and a complimentary breakfast, Solar de los Madariaga offers accommodations in a fully-refurbished 140-year-old manor house in Vicuña. Our stay was awesome! I love the hotel and everywhere you looked was beautiful. The staff were awesome and special mention for Diego the manager and also Juan our waiter in the restaurant. Juan chose local wine for us and recomended where we could travel around in the area. He was such an awesome waiter and we absolutely loved everything about the place. I was sad to leave!
