Even if I don't have a Chinese app, I can keep in touch with them through Booking.com when I am on the mountain. The front desk staff are very polite and helpful. Special thanks to Yuan Yuan, who patiently helped us explain and plan our three-day itinerary for Zhangjiajie National Park and the Grand Canyon. She listened carefully to our needs and assisted us wholeheartedly. She also recommended and helped us purchase admission and activity tickets, which made our journey very smooth and saved us a lot of time and effort in planning the routes ourselves. The hotel is conveniently located close to the National Park and the Charming Xiangxi show theatre. They also provide free pick-up and drop-off services to these entrances, which is extremely helpful. They even provided one way free pick up from high speed train station to hotel. It's very useful when we visit the place in the first time. As for the room, it was very comfortable and clean. The in-room facilities are of high quality. The air conditioning works very well and maintains a comfortable temperature. The shower has strong water pressure and is easy to adjust to a pleasant temperature. We could also tell that the shampoo and conditioner provided are of good quality. The restaurant staff are friendly too and put great effort to accommodate our breakfast needs during the stay Overall, we felt very comfortable, warmly welcomed, and well taken care of during our stay. Highly recommended.

The staff was incredibly helpful and the room was amazing. Very comfortable bed and large bathroom. The rooftop terrace was beautiful. The staff even helped me when I lost a pair of headphones and went above and beyond to get it back to me. 10/10!

The manager Anthony was very friendly and helpful, he speaks very good English and helps to organize your stay and visits of the national park, the “gate to heaven” and the canyon. He also offers pick-up and transfer, e.g. from to train station etc. Rooms are nice. Another highlight is, of course, the cute and child-friendly dog Popeye. The owner was very friendly and kind and willing to help us for our every need.He picked us up from the airport and saved us from the trouble of getting the taxi without me even knowing it, and also dropped us of at the cable car station for the Tianmen Mountain. It was an awesome surprise.

The place is near so many restos and shops. I like that it is just next to the river. The host helped us with plan our trip of Grand Canyon and National Park. We enjoyed the claypot resto nearby and went there 3/4 days for breakfast. The room is huge and clean. Towels and slippers are changed daily plus unlimited free water bottles! Also toiletries are nice smelling.

The surroundings are peaceful, making it an ideal place to unwind and reconnect with nature. What truly made the experience exceptional, however, was the hospitality of the staff—especially Mr. Rain. He was incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

We had a marvellous stay at this charming guesthouse. Waking up to breathtaking mountain vistas was a highlight, and the location offered a perfect balance of peaceful seclusion and easy access to the park. The proprietor was exceptionally kind and provided thoughtful assistance with local arrangements. Our room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and the breakfast was a delight. It truly provided a relaxing and quintessentially English countryside-style retreat. We would gladly return and highly recommend it.
