We were well catered for with many breakfast options even as a vegetarian. The staff was absolutely incredible! Xiang Yang didn't speak much English and we did not speak much Chinese but she took the time using a translator app every evening to explain everything to us and help us with our bookings and site seeing in Zhangjiajie. Truly our best stay in China Trip.

We stayed for three nights in this hotel to visit Zhangjiajie national park and Grand canyon. The staff was very helpful, gave us tips and a marked map to navigate easily in the park. All the reception ladies are very helpful, they made our trip a lot easier. We had a room on the third floor with a balcony. The room was equipped with all the necessities, housekeeping was everyday. Breakfast was in chinese style. Location is optimal, it's around 15 min. walk from the park entrance. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The Host Lady was really so nice. We got in near midnight and a driver was organised to pick us up, for free. Watch-out, he was waiting outside the airport, not at the arrivals doorway. The location feels remote, but it makes the view absolutely stunning and adds to the quiet peace. The Host Lady is well-practised at using a translation app, so I don't think communication is a problem. Breakfast is served in the 'restaurant' which is a separate guesthouse-type area down some stairs outside. The breakfast every morning is roughly the same. There is a fried egg, a fruit (melon one day, or orange the next), a vegetable (a corn one day, or a sweet potato the next day) a bread-type bun, and a bao-bun. AND ALSO a bowl of noodle soup with mince. It can be a lot. Our final breakfast also had rice porridge on top of all that. If you need help planning your day, the Host Lady is happy to help. She is always available on WeChat. If you book the southern entrance of the Zhangjiajie Forrest Park, she can drive you to the entrance (and pick-up) as it's only a few minutes' drive away. If you need a driver for the day for further away, they will book you a driver (you pay them directly via Weixin). We had a driver for the whole day to go to the Canyon Bridge. Our first full day, the Host Lady had a fresh home-made dinner made for us in their restaurant. It was 210 RMB, but it was very nice.

The establishment is run by a couple and their son. They were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our visit. Their son helped us organise our days in the different parks of Zhangjiajie. The mother's breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We truly felt taken care of and highly recommend this place.

Honestly, without a doubt, it was one the best places I stayed in on any vacation. The rooms are spacious and super clean. The staff were exceptionally friendly, gentle, genuine and warm. They were always ready to help. The food was delicious and fresh. They treat you like a celebrity. To us, they were the celebrity themselves. ❤️

No.5 Valley Inn ligt in een groene pomgeving en bevindt zich op 2 km van de westpoort (Yangjiajie-kaartjesbalie) van het Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Very friendly staff who attended to all our needs and requirements. Property manager Qin Kai was very helpful and he assisted us to plan for the following day trip (including purchasing the tickets in advance). We also had a good time interacting with other staff and the accommodation pets.
