Our stay at this homestay was absolutely fantastic—it was hands down the highlight of our China trip. The location was perfect: local food stalls, supermarkets, and scenic cafes were right on the doorstep, and the stunning Tianmen Mountain was just a quick taxi ride away. Everything we needed was within easy reach. A huge thanks to our wonderful host, Zhang. She was incredibly passionate and reliable, always going above and beyond to help—whether recommending delicious local eats, booking tickets for us, or clarifying all the essential details during our stay. Her exceptional hospitality truly made our travel experience unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

I Zhangjiajie, 11 kilometer fra Zhangjiajie nasjonale skogspark, ligger Zhangjiajie Mountainside, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice space. It's located next to the Zimugang entrance which is less busy than others. More tranquil surroundings, but still a few restaurants available around. The host Anthony was very helpful, arranged our park entrance tickets in advance, and was always here to answer any questions we had. The breakfast was plentiful and filling & there's also an option to have dinner at the hotel. Overall a great experience and I'd stay here again if I had a chance.

The hotel picked us up from the airport and really took care of us. Breakfast every morning was incredible and they also dropped us each morning at the nearby forest park and helped us plan our itinerary so we could see everything we wanted to (and more) in our short three day stay.

I rate 10, just cause I cannot give 100. Everything was perfect and I cannot describe the kindness of Xiang and his family.

Riverside Peak Lodge Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan National Park ligger i Zhangjiajie, 20 kilometer fra Zhangjiajie nasjonale skogspark, og har en fellesstue, en terrasse og en bar. Hotel staffs and the boss were super friendly. Easy to communicate. They helped us to go on tours for booking tickets as well as guiding us all the time.

Embraced by the greenery, No.5 Valley Inn is 2 km from the west gate (Yangjiajie ticket booth) of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Location, super friendly and helpful staff. They organize for you everything you desire, transfers, tickets, advises. The location is very good for the park, however is far from the city and all the other attractions in the area. It is just something to be aware of for organising your days here 🙂

Cracking spot! The free shuttle to the park was a ripper of a service - saved us heaps of time and hassle. Rooms were tidy and the host was a legend. Cheers!
