There is a restaurant. a wonderful setting in a vast parklike ground with beautiful big trees ( palms, mango etc), somehow hidden on the fringe of a busy town. A perfect place to get a rest from a longer road trip or for a stop on the way back to Bogota. Especially the huge and great pool with super pleasant temperature was perfect for laps swimming and relaxation. Even more since there is another shallow one for kids and one more in the parc area as well a a turkish bath and a "bubble tub"..... If we had known about the place better and earlier, we would have planned to stay a little longer. I read about unremoved dishes etc and couldn`t see any of these complaints justified while we where there and even if- the garden-setting, the spacious room, the design and the very friendly staff and their service would have outweighted it anyway.

I Tausa, 33 kilometer fra Parque Jaime Duque (fornøyelsespark), ligger Fuga Neusa, som har en hage, gratis privat parkering, en fellesstue og en terrasse. The rooms had a lot of space and they are really pet friendly.

The staff are lovely and make sure that your every need is met. The nights are cold in Guatavita, but the heated sheets and comfortable beds mean that this is not a problem. We used the jacuzzi every night to warm up before bed and enjoy the fresh night air after spending time at the communal fireplace. The breakfasts were hot and delicious. The view of the lake and hillsides is stunning.

The cabaña is very clean, and very well built. The bed is comfortable and the hot tub and shower very warm and relaxing. The room has internet and tv if needed. Clemencia and Ricardo were great hosts. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and fresh. The property is a large area with many birds and is very tranquil. Clemencia took us on a tour of the farm and we got to pick some coffee berries for the experience. She laso helped us arrange food delivery and was very kind and caring. We were hot one night as we were not used to the humidity and so Ricardo brought us a fan and a large water jug for us. Easy to get to by bus and the town is walkable. Bear in mind the town is on a mountain so there's some walking to do to get to town (around 20 mins). We had a wonderful time at Hacienda Las Mercedes and the coffee was excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely stunning location, super private as there is only one bungalow - exceptionally friendly staff - they even got us our favourite beers at night! Make sure you get up for sunrise - absolutely amazing view 😍
