Offering outdoor pool and a hot tub, Hotel Roca Negra Del Arenal is located in the suburbs of Fortuna. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The location is perfect and the hotel offers a spacious room with a comfortable bathroom and a lot of shelf space. The setting is very private with a large covered deck overlooking a manicured grounds. We even watched many times an armadillo busy searching for food a meter away from us. A beautiful swimming pool and a hot tub was a nice addition and the self-serve bar with coffee and tea provided us with some refreshments. There is also a pool table and table tennis for the rainy days. A very affordable Soda el Turnito is just across the road for a delicious meal. Elizabeth from the reception showed us a beautiful garden in the back of the property. She is very caring and funny! All in all, we had a very relaxing time here and can whole heartedly recommend to others.

L’entorn de l’hotel, que pertany al mateix hotel, és absolutament espectacular. Els jardins extremadament ben cuidats, preciosos, amb moltíssims camins per descobrir, amb una bassa on es poden observar granotes de dia i de nit, una torre des de la qual veure la part superior dels arbres i observar micos, tucans i altres aus. Hi ha al costat de recepció i del restaurant unes terrasses fantàstiques per observar el volcà, el llac aus i mamífers. Molt a prop de recepció, cada matí a l’alba, i al vespre veiem una família extensíssima de mones aranya recórrer els pins. Ha estat una experiència memorable. El personal de l’hotel és fabulós. La piscina i el jacuzzi també estan molt bé. Probablement sigui la nostra millor experiència a Costa Rica, un lloc per recomanar 100%.

Located within 7.2 km of La Fortuna Waterfall and 6.5 km of Kalambu Hot Springs, Hotel Arenal Glamping features rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Fortuna. Amazing location and facilities. It felt like we were in a tropical paradise. The tents were large, spacious, clean and comfortable, surrounded by lush vegetation. The ladies at reception were so friendly and helpful. They organised all of our tours and called a taxi when we needed one. The facilities around the property were spectacular, and we loved getting to swim in the pool at night. It felt magical. It was quite overcast while we were there, so we didn’t have the view of the volcano, but that didn’t detract from the amazing environment at all. Great variety for breakfast. Close to many restaurants and the town centre. Highly recommend!

Malekus Mountain Lodge features a garden, a shared lounge and a sun terrace with swimming pool and continental breakfast in Aguas Claras. Our stay was an exceptional experience. Roger and Rose were super kind and helpful giving ideas for places to visit, where to eat etc. One of the highlights was the breakfast, every day with fresh fruit juice and varied costarican food. Malekus is located in a stunning location surrounded by nature at its best. Definitively highly recommendable!!
