Penzion Stará Celnice ligger i Pec pod Sněžkou og har en hage, terrasse, bar og gratis WiFi over hele overnattingsstedet. We loved our stay, everything was perfect. Let me start with easy check-in. The room was super clean, spacious with huge bed. We had a small fridge in the room which was nice. Bathroom was fully equipped with towels, washing products. Breakfast was very nice with many options to choose from. We booked half-board and the dinner was delicious, home made food. There is no grocery store near by but there is a self service fridge in the hotel where you can buy any drinks at reasonable price and pay at the check out. We could make coffee or tea at any time of the day. We really felt like home, and staff working there was also very nice and welcomed us like a family.

Last year we stayed in Janske Lazne and cycled past the "Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou", and we said, next time we come to Pec we have to stay there. And we just stayed there, as a family of four and our dog. What do we love about it ? The location is magnificent, it is on the plateau at the top of the mountain, you feel like you are on top of the world, it is a recently built mountain chalet, and done in a beautiful style, we had the half board and the breakfast and evening meal were absolutely perfect. The hotel is run by the owner who is very friendly and very helpful with local knowledge, where to hike, where to stop for lunch. In the evening you have beautiful sunsets with views which stretch for tens of miles, at night there is a quietness which cannot be matched. We need to explore Pec more, and we will be staying here again next time and using it as our base. What more to say, Hotel Vydrovy boudy Pec pod Sněžkou is a gem, enjoy it.

The proprietor is very friendly and helpful. The dinner was delicious as was the breakfast! The room and bathroom were both very clean and comfortable. I am already looking forward to returning to this cozy retreat in the Czech mountains!
