We recently stayed in this beautiful and well-equipped apartment in the perfect location in Freiburg, and it exceeded our expectations. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Tom, who handed us the keys and gave us a tour of the apartment, making us feel right at home. The place was clean, and the highlight was the terrace with a wonderful jacuzzi and amazing views, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Tom was very helpful, providing us with restaurant recommendations and taking the time to show us the nearby parking garage. We were fortunate to borrow a parking permit from him, which made our stay even more convenient and we payed half the price with the permit. As we had an electric car, it was a huge plus that we could easily charge it in the garage. Our stay was fantastic, and we would love to return to this apartment in the future. Highly recommended!

The location is amazing. Every day the view from our balcony looked more beautiful. We were lucky to have stayed a week in November when it was bright sunshine so we were able to take advantage of the beautiful surroundings. Cycling is so easy as the hotel really is in the middle of the forest but glad we had e-bikes as steep slopes all around. The bridge directly into the forest was an instant immersion into to Schwarzwald. We also took advantage of the wellness program and did qi-jong in the fresh air and reminded ourselves to slow down and breathe! The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to our waitress Anna too.

I Hinterzarten, 27 kilometer fra Katedralen i Freiburg, ligger Erfurths Bergfried Ferien & Wellnesshotel, som har et utendørsbasseng, gratis privat parkering, et treningsstudio og en hage. This is a beautiful hotel in a lovely town of Hinterzarten. The double room I was in was large and with a great size balcony; the spotlessly clean bathroom that looked like it had been installed recently. The hotel has excellent wellness facilities. And there is great food available for breakfast and served for dinner. The hotel is run by a family which creates a great atmosphere and services are delivered with great care and pride. It is relatively easy to travel to Hinterzarten by public transport and the hotel is within 10 mins walk from the railway station. The forest trails start within less than 100 meters from the hotel. There are great many forest walks and lots of things to do in the area.

I Baiersbronn, 42 kilometer fra Kongresshaus Baden-Baden, ligger Wellness & Genuss Resort - Engel Obertal, som har en bar og privat parkering. The location enabled a short walk/hike and be lost within the beauty of the Black Forrest National Park. We had the pleasure of a local guide (At no cost & organised through Engel Orbetal) taking us through with a wealth of knowledge and just enjoying the beautiful nature we were surrounded in.

Our stay started with the Hotel Manager picking us up from the train station and providing us a thorough overview of the hotel and local activities. The hotel grounds were in impeccable condition and our room was as expected. The meals were excellent, well deserved of their Michelin rating. Overall, it was the guest service that stood out as they took every opportunity to ensure we were enjoying our stay. We spent a fair amount of time in the outdoor hot tub and the natural pool. We were there on an anniversary celebration and our stay was a perfect fit for the occasion.
